ALICE. an all-girl band that ROCKED. from 1991.
In August of 1991, I got together with some of New York's best female musicians
for two sets of cover songs, one night only, at the Pyramid Club on Avenue A.
It was hands-down the most exciting performance night in memory.
We called ourselves ALICE.
Pat Place and Kathy Rey were on guitars, Julia Murphy on bass,
Barbara Merjan on drums, and Barb Morrison guested with us on sax for a few songs.
